Kentucky​ Out of State Broker Cooperation- An out-of-state licensee may render licensed services on a real estate transaction in cooperation with a KY broker based on a written cooperation agreement, under such local broker’s supervision.

Kentucky Real Estate ReciprocityAs of Monday, December 16, 2019, the Kentucky Real Estate Commission ended the policy of license recognition. Currently the only state that Kentucky has Reciprocity with is Ohio.

Specific to Kentucky Real Estate- Principal Broker must maintain an escrow account at a Kentucky Bank. - Every nonresident applicant shall file an irrevocable consent stating that legal actions may be commenced against the applicant in the proper court of any county of this state in which a cause of action may arise in which the plaintiff may reside, by the service of any process or pleading authorized by the laws of this state on the commission, the consent stipulating and agreeing that service of process or pleadings on the commission shall be taken and held in all courts to be as valid and binding as if service had been made upon the applicant in the State of Kentucky. - Requires E&O (See RISC) https://www.risceo.com/states/kentucky-2/ |

Kentucky Real Estate Customs
